2020 TRCS Virtual Online Auction: FAQ’s

We are thrilled to have this opportunity to connect with you online. While we are not able to join together in person, know that your support is just as important as when we were planning to ‘Escape to Paradise’ together. You are encouraged to share this online auction event link with your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues; most items can be mailed to the winning bidders. Every bid and donation benefits TRCS, thank you!

HOW DO I BROWSE THE ONLINE CATALOG?
HOW DO I REGISTER TO BID? IT’S FREE, SIMPLE, AND EASY!
Before you are able to bid, you will need to register; registration is free, no ticket needed!
Register early so we can help you resolve any issues or answer questions so you are ready to go at opening time. Reach out to us at TRCSFundraisingCommittee@gmail.com if you need help.
Follow these steps so you are ready to go on May 7th.
- Click here to create your account
- Enter your email address.
- Check your email for the verification message and follow the link to fill out your contact and payment information. This way you will also receive updates on items you have placed bids on.
- Verify your payment information, billing address, and mobile phone number.
- Hooray! You are now ready to bid when the online auction opens on May 7th. You can browse the catalog and mark your favorites.
- To “watch” an item, select the star icon on the item so you can keep an eye on it.
WHEN AND HOW DO I BID?
- The virtual online auction opens for bidding on May 7th, at 7:00am PDT.
- Log in to your registered account.
- Browse the catalog, search for items by name or item number by using the magnifying glass, or by choosing a category under the menu.
- You can ‘Bid’ the next increment or ‘Bid More’ than the next increment. If you choose ‘Bid More’ you can set your maximum bid. The system will automatically bid in your favor (up to your maximum bid) until you are outbid or until the auction closes.
- To “watch” an item, select the star icon on the package.
- If you are outbid at any point before the auction closes, you will see an Outbid notice at the top of your screen and you will receive a notification.
- To view the items you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.
- And most importantly ~ have fun, bid high, and bid often ~ it’s for the children!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE AUCTION CLOSES?
- The virtual online auction will close on May 17th, at 10:00pm PDT.
- The method of payment you registered with will be charged for the item(s) you won.
- The TRCS Fundraising Committee will mail or deliver item(s) and a receipt (with the TRCS Tax ID#) to winning bidders. TRCS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY WINNING ITEMS?
- Winning bidders will be contacted to either arrange for delivery/pick up of items to addresses within 20 miles of TRCS, or they will be mailed.
- We will NOT be able to ship the 'Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree #1', 'Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree #2', ‘COVID Survival Basket’, or the ‘Painting Package’; these items require arrangements for local delivery/pick-up.

All certificates for goods and services must be used within one year of the auction date unless otherwise noted. Bookings must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise noted.
By the buyer’s purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against TRCS, its elected and appointed officials, employees, sponsors, volunteers connected with the auction, and/or the donor of the item. Neither TRCS nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage that may result from the use of the property or services.
